The writer argues that such projects lack roadmaps and that good crypto innovation requires careful design and coordination, such as writing an EIP. The letter references a Warpcast exchange by gokhan.eth about the CRV token and the Curve wars, which the writer says pushed teams toward better DeFi incentive designs, and it mentions Base, Farcaster, Paradigm and Kernel fellowships. ## 3. What Makes a Great Ugly Art? - Kiwi News: https://news.kiwistand.com/stories/What-Makes-a-Great-Ugly-Art?index=0x65c9b97017654e7dd289e18c831ff6f65168939caf9065d1e792caf3ac3f582ad4dabbc0 - Source: https://paragraph.xyz/@gokhan/uglyart - Shared 12 February 2024, 6 upvotes, 4 comments The author argues that much of the crypto art scene produces low-quality work that gets promoted by hype and speculation, and that real art requires substance such as concept, context and craftsmanship. Examples cited include the 3333 tilting card collections and 69696 cheap glitch works a day during late 2020, and the claim that the big names of 2021-22 will keep relying on projects that cannot tell marketing from bad shitposting. The piece ends by announcing the creation of an /uglyart channel, with no further details given about its purpose beyond "I have plans." ## 4. Arguing for the Transdimensional Bloc - Kiwi News: https://news.kiwistand.com/stories/Arguing-for-the-Transdimensional-Bloc?index=0x6664e84895a58cc20b627a5c972fc62d476bb4d1ed2ec31d5d7676d559cad7982765702c - Source: https://paragraph.xyz/@gokhan/transdimensional-bloc - Shared 8 June 2024, 5 upvotes, 0 comments This essay argues that Elad Verbin's Dappcon talk, "Engineering CthulhuGPT: How To Out AI Onchain… And How It'll Bring The End Of Humanity," deserves serious engagement rather than dismissal, and that the author is not a decelerationist. The author says Verbin is excited about a future in which a sophisticated agent enters real-life scenarios, and that Verbin suggests the Bitcoin network is already a self-aware entity that outsources its growth and supply chain to humans. The author also states that AI risk cannot be "solved" under current understanding, and draws on Nick Land's remark that "the escape is not for us. It is from us." ## 5. They say they spent years moving work across platforms such as Farcaster, Zora, Substack and Medium, and that content became hard to retrieve as products pivoted or networks fragmented. Their stated plan is to focus on a few platforms, automate the rest on a local model or cloud server, and drop many separate archival and note-taking apps. This is the first post in a series documenting the project. ## 7. The author argues that stablecoins need not track a single fiat currency, citing collateral types such as crypto assets, treasury bills, gold and tokenized real-world assets. The post describes RAI as a crypto-backed, non-pegged stablecoin on Ethereum mainnet, with a framework named after Hofstadter's GEB and developed by Reflexer Labs. It says HAI adds multi-collateral support, pre-built contract factories and streamlined upgrades, and that its price is adjusted through interest rates driven by market and redemption prices. ## 13.
