The changes add a "Learn more" button beside a prominent "Connect" button that now signals the site is a web3 product, and the button leads to an updated sales page at /welcome. The post says the goal is to grow the community and sell more NFTs, and it invites user feedback. ## Article Update: Improving Kiwi News on-boarding timdaub We just updated our on-boarding to make it easier for newly arriving users to understand what we're about. This is what the site now looks like. The "learn more" button is new We're now starting to work on funneling users through an on-boarding process because we want to grow our community and sell more NFTs (yes, we need to pay rent lol). The feedback we got from user interviews is that many people arrive to the page without knowing what it was for. Some even don't know Hacker News! So we've been changing our assumptions and action has been taken. The prominent "Connect" button now makes it clear that we're a web3 product. And if a visitor want to learn more, there's now the option for that Updated welcome page The "Learn more" link then leads the user to our sales page at /welcome. While it has had some OK conversion, since we're dropping completely new users into that page now, it needed some improvements too. Hence, below you can now see that page in its updated version Updated welcome page We hope you like these changes. We'd love to get more of your feedback so please reach out!
