Each edition will present either a comprehensive survey of an artist's work, a snapshot of a historical moment, or a thematic curation of older or recent works. The first edition presents early works by Auriea Harvey and Entropy8Zuper! (Harvey and Michaël Samyn), beginning with entropy8.com (1995), and is curated with Regina Harsanyi alongside Harvey's survey show at Museum of the Moving Image (MoMI). The works can be viewed in emulation on an exhibition microsite, where Dragan Espenschied and Rhizome conducted conservation. ## Article Rhizome is thrilled to announce ArtBase Anthologies, a new series of presentations on born-digital art and culture, made possible with support from Teiger Foundation. Each month, ArtBase Anthologies will present a selection of works—either a comprehensive survey of an artist's work, a snapshot of a historical moment, or a thematic curation of works from the recent or more distant past. The series aims to deepen and enrich the public understand of digital art as a whole, and to offer an equitable accounting of its history. For its first iteration, we are pleased to present early works by Auriea Harvey and Entropy8Zuper! (Harvey and Michaël Samyn). Created during a period of increasing corporatization online, the works on view represent a fierce commitment to the web as a home for artists and amateurs, where creative experimentation with the browser was encouraged. The Anthology begins with entropy8.com (1995), the artistic platform and personal website of Auriea Harvey, and continues with three further works that were created collaboratively with Samyn as the artist duo Entropy8Zuper! This edition of ArtBase Anthologies was curated with Regina Harsanyi in conjunction with Harvey’s ongoing survey show “My Veins are the Wires, My Body is Your Keyboard” on view at Museum of the Moving Image (MoMI). These works may be seen in emulation on the exhibition microsite along with contextual information, images, and software downloads. Conservation of these works was undertaken by Dragan Espenschied and Rhizome. Highlights from the Community Forum ✍️ - Interested in what teleperformance looked like in the pre-zoom era?
