Gnosis Chain validators are now whitelisted for the Obol Techne program, which offers access to Distributed Validator Technology resources, and Serenita released Vero, a multi-node validator client with about 2,100 lines of source code, as open source. The update also says Vero powers thousands of Holesky testnet and Gnosis Chain validators, and that Gnosis plans to add nodes in underrepresented regions such as Ghana to raise its Nakamoto coefficient. We're expanding our partnership with Obol Collective to provide new opportunities for node operators. Gnosis Chain validators are now whitelisted for the Obol Techne program, which offers access to various Distributed Validator Technology (DVT) resources. Vero is a multi-node validator client, now released as a fully open-source public good developed by Serenita team. Its codebase consists of just ~2,100 lines of source code, with only 9 direct and 35 total external dependencies. Vero currently powers thousands of our Holesky testnet and Gnosis Chain validators. After months of testing on local devnets and public testnets, Serenita have reached the point where they want to encourage other operators to try it out, especially if they haven't adopted multi-node setups yet.
