## Summary

Kiwi News has launched KN Search, a keyword search tool for its links and comments, built by contributor rvolz.eth (Rainer). The site says the tool can search its 11,000+ links and 2,000+ comments in a second or two and can sort results by popularity or freshness. Rainer, who created the Dune Dashboard and runs his own Kiwi node, said that older stories tend to get lost on the Kiwi News site because of its shorter time horizon, and that the curated stories on the Kiwi News protocol make it a useful source for a search engine.

Many users have been asking for a search, and it's finally here.

KN Search allows you to look for links and comments based on the keywords, like Google. So, if you have read a great essay and forgot the title or wanted to return to a conversation you saw in the app, you can now do it in a few clicks.

KNSearch is fast - you can go through our 11,000+ links and 2,000+ comments in a second or two. And it also lets you sort the content by popularity or freshness.

What's most amazing about KN Search is that it's been delivered 100% permissionlessly by our contributor, rvolz.eth. Rainer has been playing a very important role in Kiwi - you might know him as the creator of our Dune Dashboard, but he also runs his own Kiwi node and helped us fix the node syncing issues.

Here are a few words from Rainer on why he built Search on Kiwi:

"As for the reasons, when curating news on Kiwi News, sometimes you want to dig deeper and get a perspective on a story. KN itself, as a news site, has a shorter time horizon, so older stories tend to get lost.

Because the Kiwi News protocol provides a curated set of stories, it is a unique source of information for a search engine that is often struggling with noise and spam. So it was a no-brainer for me to build on that foundation."
