## Summary

Vitalik Buterin suggests that Argentina could be a good location for hosting Devconnect, the Ethereum community event, and tags Argentine President Javier Milei in the post. He lists the criteria used to choose Devconnect locations: the quality of the local community, accessibility such as ease of obtaining visas for global developers, the availability of suitable venues, and the potential for lasting impact through grassroots and institutional adoption of Ethereum applications in the region. The post says the team would like to engage more with Argentina.

## Article

Hosting devconnect in Argentina could be a great opportunity to show the best of what crypto can offer.

Devconnect locations are decided based on:

* Quality of local community
* Accessibility (eg. ease of getting visas) for our global developers
* Availability of suitable venues
* Potential to create lasting impact, especially through long-term (both grassroots and institutional) adoption of ethereum applications in the region

We would love to engage more!
