# @hudsonjameson and @NTmoney discuss Devcon's US immigration challenges Source: https://vxtwitter.com/hudsonjameson/status/1924359815955943701 Is no one going to say it? US immigration & visa problems are real problems. Not to mention that the US has recently said they are not dropping their case against @rstormsf. There's a risk for any privacy dev who wants to enter the US. Toronto would be nice & people will worry less about being able to travel back home when departing. ## Comments **curl.ytocin.eth**: Visa issues and safety aside, Devcon is also targetting communities that are developing their Eth culture and are accessible price wise for most devs internationally. The US is significantly more expensive than Istanbul or Bangkok, and because of that I meet that could never afford a week in NYC or California. **timdaub.eth**: Agreed. Plus I'm not sure whether there'd anyways be much of a benefit from having a Devcon there. E.g. ETHDenver is a really large event that is already happening annually. Isn't a huge part of the Ethereum community going to Denver every year already?
