# @Rabby_io: Firefox wallet extension to be discontinued

Source: https://x.com/Rabby_io/status/1925519050471288956

## Summary

The Rabby Wallet Firefox extension is being discontinued and will no longer be maintained. The decision is attributed to long-standing challenges with the Firefox platform, including a lack of full support for hardware wallets such as Ledger, which directly affects the user experience. The announcement also cites Firefox's relatively small user base, which makes ongoing maintenance disproportionately costly compared with other platforms, and recommends using the Rabby extension on Chrome or Brave instead.

## Article

The Rabby Wallet Firefox extension will no longer be maintained.

This was a carefully considered decision based on long-standing challenges with the Firefox platform. Firefox lacks full support for hardware wallets such as Ledger, which directly affects the user experience. At the same time, its relatively small user base makes ongoing maintenance disproportionately costly compared to other platforms.

By streamlining our focus, we can deliver better updates on platforms we fully support.

We recommend using the Rabby extension on Chrome or Brave.
