# @DU09BTC: SOL founder spends $30k/night on hotel, Vitalik hand-washes clothes

Solana meme founder spoils gf with $30k/night at hotels while Vitalik washes his clothes with his bare hands to save on costs and not pay hotels $4/item.

Think that's a good TLDR for ETH vs SOL. Discuss.

**mishaderidder.eth**: I totally support washing your underwear with your bare hands while traveling, easily done while under the shower. So much inspiration here: https://news.kiwistand.com/stories/Vitalik:-My-40-liter-backpack-travel-guide?index=0x688b9b61efffa07cd4434fa00711261faf72ef962a254ea2f267a71ec9efeed1ea121362

**timdaub.eth**: Agree, I always use "Rai in der Tube."

But I have also fucked up before. E.g. in Colombia I had a lot of dirty clothes so I used shampoo (my mother advised it) but then the clothes smelled horribly bad after drying. So always use proper clothes washing soap. Even the mom is wrong in this case haah
