## Summary

Lens has built a Token Distributor for gasless token distribution based on real user value rather than surface-level activity, and it is now in early testing, distributing GHO directly to qualifying users' Lens Accounts with no claim process. The first phase focuses on GHO, though the system supports any ERC-20 token. Users are ranked on behavior such as engagement frequency, how others respond to their content, trust and network connections measured by PageRank, onchain financial activity, and steady engagement over time. An ML model filters out bots, spam, and low-value accounts, and the initial phase uses heuristic scoring that the team plans to refine through testing.

We’ve built a Token Distributor for gasless token distribution based on real user value, not surface-level activity. Built on Lens, it’s now in early testing, distributing GHO to quality users, directly to their Lens Account with no claim processes. While the first phase focuses on GHO, the system supports any ERC-20 token.

It’s designed to:

Incentivize meaningful engagement

Promote long-term retention over short-term farming

Support fair and wide token distribution

Drive economic activity through real participation

Defend against Sybil attacks and abuse

The system ranks users based on their behavior across Lens: what they do, how often, how others respond, and how trusted they are:

Contributors: frequent engagement (likes, comments, shares, tips, collects)

Quality users: filtered through an ML model to remove bots, spam, and low-value accounts

Creators: based on who interacts with their content and how valuable those users are

Influencers: measured by trust and network connection (PageRank)

High-value users: active financial participation onchain

Consistent users: steady engagement over time

Token allocations are based on a composite score and eligibility:

The Token Distributor starts simple: heuristic scoring, based on actual Lens activity. This phase is live and being tested with real GHO being distributed, rewarding users by contribution, consistency, influence, and quality. Through testing and subsequent learnings, we will continue tweaking the algorithm and improving the agent.

Important note: The token distributor will not be utilizing claim sites or requiring any kind of user interaction. Qualifying users will be receiving test allocations directly on their Lens Accounts.

**timdaub.eth**: Interesting, but I think a more gamified model where people can compete and play for a prize might make more sense than having a god-like AI distribute tokens „perfectly“

**mishaderidder.eth**: Read quite some people complaining (of course always people complaining). It is a black box learning system, so it lacks transparency, obviously to prevent gaming. But that is in tension w/ trust and fairness which requires transparency. In short farmers don’t know how to optimize their behavior and plan their engagement strategy:) Anyway historically quite some of those there on Lens. Obviously they would like distribution rewarding being early and past behavior, instead of current behavior. Haha. Anyway challenging times for Lens. They’re struggling w/ user retention. Hope this new vibes based approach will help.
