# Sponsor next rotki release

Source: https://rotki.com/sponsor/mint

## Summary

Sponsors of the next rotki release can mint a sponsorship NFT tied to the upcoming release, with each tier offering its own perks and directly funding independent, open source development. Sponsors pay from their wallet, then sign in with that wallet to submit a name for the release changelog, along with an image for the silver and gold tiers. Each NFT held counts toward a sponsor's place on the leaderboard, so holding more NFTs raises the ranking. The page does not list tier prices.

**mishaderidder.eth**: Interesting monetizing strategy

**timdaub.eth**: Cool idea but by the looks of it only two people minted so far, no?

**mishaderidder.eth**: I think it launched today, so maybe it needs some time. But the Gold is a 1/1 and it sold out 0.3 eth - it’s a good starter. Anyway Rotki has also the subscription. I have paid for that since Rotki is a great tool, actually indispensable I think. Without it I would be lost on where all my crypto is lol. It would be interesting though if the NFT itself would be an artwork by a great artist. If this approach proves a success maybe they should ask artists to make them in exchange for a lifetime Rotki subscription.

**mishaderidder.eth**: Btw there’s only one thing I miss in Rotki and that’s that I can’t track my Gnosis validators. I have been asking around and it seems there was once a plan to implement but somehow it got stalled on the Gnosis side. So if someone influential in Gnosis DAO is reading this, I think they should fund Rotki to implement this.
