## Summary

Chris Coc is building Sopha, a Farcaster client intended as a place for depth, reading, thinking, and conversation rather than trading. The post says Sopha focuses on sense-making, culture, and ideas that take time, aimed at people who value signal over reach. It states the client and a mini-app are already in production with 350+ casts curated, and the author is asking Purple DAO for a small amount of support to cover core infrastructure costs.

## Article

I’m building @sopha, a Farcaster client designed for depth - a third place for reading, thinking, and conversation.

As clients increasingly optimise for trading, Sopha focuses on sense-making, culture, and ideas that take time. It’s a place worth lingering in, built for people who care about signal over reach and conversation over performance.

It’s already in use (Client and Mini-app in production, 350+ casts curated), and I’m asking Purple DAO for a small amount of support to cover core infrastructure costs while it continues to take shape.

lmk if you have any questions or would to try it out and become part of what we're building.
