# Redact - Mass Delete Messages, Posts and More

Source: https://redact.dev

## Summary

Redact is a desktop and mobile app that bulk deletes posts, comments, messages and DMs from services such as Facebook, Discord, Twitter/X and Reddit, with support for more than 35 services. Users can set a preservation window so that content older than that period is automatically deleted through its Disappearing Mode. The app says login credentials go directly from the user's device to each platform and never pass through a Redact server, and it also offers a beta people-search removal feature for US residents, with removal available in its Premium and Ultimate tiers.

## Comments

**mishaderidder.eth**: Who did try this? I wonder what it does to the algo, what does your feed look like after you've deleted all posts, likes, etc? It's tempting.

**timdaub.eth**: I saw this on reddit and it just edited the post to some random words instead of deleting the post lol. Therefore I found it and shared it here
