- @iamtherealyakuza: TLDR Lens Roadmap
Lens's roadmap, summarized from a post by @0xmrvinyl and Mask Network and Lens meeting notes dated 21/02/2026, prioritizes fixing core usability over protocol changes, with about 99.9% of ownership and operations transitioned. Within 6 to 9 months, the plan is to extend login sessions beyond 7 days, remove storage bottlenecks for large media, and use existing wallets such as Rainbow and OKX as login. No smart contract migrations are planned, and the Lens chain remains a Validium. Monetization is being reworked away from meme coins toward real-world coupon incentives, citing a Haidilao campaign of about 100,000 SGD.
- @nilesh: orb has been acquired by @masknetwork, stepping down as ceo
Nilesh announced that Orb has been acquired by @masknetwork and that he is stepping down as CEO. He says Orb started as a side project in his apartment during grad school, first as a flashcard app for learning web3, and grew after he built a simple mobile app for web3 social, which he says drew tens of thousands of testers within weeks. He reports that the project raised a few million dollars, reached hundreds of thousands of users, and that his cofounder @kipto and the team are joining Mask to continue the mission. Nilesh says he is staying in SF and exploring consumer AI, robotics and hardware.
- about the Orb new logo
Orb unveiled a new logo made of four shapes, each representing a part of its app, and explained the meaning behind them in a thread. The badge shape represents and recognizes a user's contribution to the Orb ecosystem and community, with profile badges to be unveiled soon. The circle puts users at the center of the experience, and the rounded square represents Orb Clubs as a meeting place for all. The open gear stands for builders and users working together on the app and for features not yet built, which early adopters can help shape.
