A Sapphirepunk Manifesto

AI summary of the linked article

A Sapphirepunk manifesto by Naomiii, Andr0meda, Wassim Z. Alsindi, Sasha Shilina and Wastelander holds that privacy should be a shared commons and a starting condition for community, not an endpoint. It rejects the old Cypherpunk dream and states that cryptography alone cannot protect the world, and that encryption without an ethics of care merely hardens existing oppression. The text, described as a work in progress, calls for technologies rooted in justice and rejects market supremacism, hyper-individualism and the privatisation of privacy.

Thank you, it was a big team effort - I am but a contributor.

There was 30 pages and we cut it down, but there will probably some additional thoughts and posts around this too :))

We just need to find time, but it's a good start and base for conversations I'd say.
