Brave Wallet now supports Bitcoin | Brave

Brave Wallet on desktop version 1.63 now lets users create Native SegWit Bitcoin accounts, which Brave says offer lower transaction fees and better error detection than other Bitcoin account types. The wallet can also send and receive from Legacy, Nested SegWit, Native SegWit and Taproot addresses, for compatibility with third-party wallets. James Mudgett, VP Web3 Products at Brave, said the aim is to offer the most secure and privacy-considerate software wallet for everyday use. Brave also plans to add more Bitcoin account types later this year, enabling BRC-20 tokens and Ordinals.
