Brave to Integrate Cardano into Brave Wallet

Input | Output (IO) announced a strategic partnership with Brave Software on May 12, 2025, to integrate Cardano into Brave Wallet. Once live, the integration will add Cardano native assets, along with send, receive, swap, and signing capabilities, built into the browser wallet. Brave CEO Brendan Eich said the integration expands multi-chain access and enhances security, governance participation, and user experience. Users will be able to manage native assets such as NIGHT, take part in governance, and swap tokens, and the partnership sets the stage for future work around Midnight, a blockchain developed by IO spinout Shielded Technologies.
