It's really interesting what he tells about selling and the stage of the bull market here. I would have been saying that we still have a while to go, but he says that it's going to be over soon. In fact he sees XRP rising and so on as a cycle end indicator. Which is actually a really nice indicator because these coins tend to shoot up only once very briefly per cycle. Just look at some dino coin charts.

I'm going to push back a little bit on his thesis here by saying that I've observed that the cycle lengths in crypto have been getting very long. You can see this for your self too when you open the Bitcoin chart. The 2017 cycle lasted from Sept 2017 to maybe April 2018 (8 months). I still remember that there was a long time when we were in sort of a plateau (after April 2018), but I think this was already a capitulation phase followed by a really bad crash.

But the 2021 cycle lasted crazy long. We started in Oct 2020 and prices came down really badly in Aug 2022 (that's almost 2 years). In fact, between the cycle tops were roughly 7-8 months! And this is also considering that both cycles had two tops, the 2017 cycle also had two if you zoom in.

So maybe we'll get this super long cycle actually. It's really hard to tell. I think the dino coins shooting up and his argumentation that people are cycling into alternatives makes a lot of sense actually.

As people argued that the election was a big push for the market, will the unavoidable disillusionment phase in politics also signal the end of the bull market? It is clear that the worldwide audience is being prepped with psyops since the election. 3-6 months into the new year first results of actual governmental action will be visible. I'm not sure that crypto market mechanics will be dominant then.

I actually think the bull will, as always, end with a big implosion of a big crypto player. The top contender for blowing up is ma boy Michael Saylor, but there are other good ones too, so letβ€˜s see.

Agreed that everyone has been psyopped. That said, Ethereum has actually achieved horizontal scaling capabilities now and so there can exist applications in DeFi and beyond it that can ingest a huge number of new users. Plus, DeFi and other related sectors in crypto are already profitable businesses. Plus, it seems the biggest gift that Trump has given the crypto space is to not interfere. Some crypto apps are already handling millions of users. But not only DeFi. Bluesky is built on Protocol Labs' tech.

So putting all of this together, I think what people are smelling here is that crypto people will have free reign to push for mass adoption in the US over the next four years. And that they won't be held back by regulators or bad tech. Those are perfect conditions to make things happen
