AI summary of the linked articleElon Musk and other prominent right-wing figures have launched a campaign against Wikipedia, urging followers to stop donating to the Wikimedia Foundation. Musk's December 24 tweet, "Stop donating to Wokepedia," was followed by posts from Chaya Raichik, Mario Nawfal, and others that criticized the Foundation's $50 million spending on "diversity, equity, and inclusion." The article argues these budget categories directly support Wikipedia's reliability, and it says Musk's claim about Bill Clinton's Epstein connections was a misrepresentation, since the text was moved to separate articles rather than deleted.

So much Musk news lately, it’s becoming hard not to curate it. I try to be critical and only get the interesting stuff and not the click bait. We could easily launch a subKiwi on the subject. (But we should not.) Btw did you know kiwi is actually wiki just syllables swapped? lol. This one was interesting, thanks for sharing. With all my reservations re: Molly's crypto takes, I think she is very qualified to speak about Wikipedia. The part about the editorial process got me thinking that maybe it'd be interesting to add a Community Notes-like step in their process, where editors from different parts of the political spectrum could voice their opinions about particular claims or sources.
