Introducing Ethereum Community Foundation

Blockchain protocol engineer Zak Cole introduced the Ethereum Community Foundation (ECF), a new organization that funds Ethereum projects aimed at increasing the price and utility of ETH. The ECF focuses on immutable, credibly neutral, token-free projects that contribute to burning ETH, and Cole criticized the absence of a burn mechanism in EIP-4844. As its first initiative, the ECF is launching the Ethereum Validator Association (EVA), which will let validators express preferences using their staked ETH.
