AI summary of the linked articleThe Optimism article describes how the OP Stack, Optimism's open-source and MIT-licensed software for deploying onchain products, gets new features and upgrades. Protocol upgrades are drafted by OP Labs or other core contributors, reviewed by an independent Developer Advisory Board, and then face a 7-day veto period in which tokenholders, chains, apps, and end-users can override the board's decision. According to the text, the process is meant to ensure that no single entity, including OP Labs or the Foundation, can unilaterally dictate the future of the stack.

I just barely made it which is really super weird (96 OP). I literally have an Aave loan on OP mainnet that I use to top up my Gnosis Pay, my entire business runs on OP. I actually donβt use a bank account anymore. Fully onchain. Yet Iβm not a frequent user according to their metric π Apparently there was some front-end bug and I am eligible now so it's useful to re-check :)
