Honestly I kinda hate it (Chris I know you're here).

You know we (OSS builders) already get so fucked by everyone who's building the casino. Even the dev tools that enable people to build on Ethereum get a tiny amount of the value that the people who use these tools to extract make.

Then now also they're turning off the public goods funding faucets for open source devs too. And then there's also a game engineered on our brand of being open source devs that makes it seem like these people are doing the same thing as us. It really makes me feel like I'm being badly ripped off (which I probably also Am).

To me honest, all of this behavior is just going to lead us to overthink our altruistic behaviors. Maybe I won't spend my unpaid work time to contribute to open source. Maybe I will do less altruistic actions in the future because I need to protect myself, etc.
