@binji_x: ethereum is for everyone - manifesto on open internet future

ethereum is for everyone. for the kid who taught himself to code on a cracked phone. for the mother sending wages across a border before the lights cut out. for the artist who found one hundred true fans and a reason to keep going. for the gamer flagged as a bot who just wants to keep playing. for the clerk who wants clean books and a clean conscience. for the banker who knows trust should be earned and not performed. for the city that wants records that outlast any term. for the museum that will not let memory fade. for the builder with one stubborn idea that refuses to die. we build so that value moves like messages. so your names stay yours. so stories cannot be rewritten at midnight. so privacy and accountability work together instead of tearing each other apart. so markets pull truth to the surface. so our digital cities never have a single off switch. we refuse the old gate at the door. we refuse fees that split a paycheck in half. we refuse edits to your balance and edits to your past. we refuse the quiet clause that takes your work back after you sign. we refuse a future that belongs to a few. we choose open tools. we choose public rules. we choose receipts that anyone can verify. we choose ledgers that do not blink when power leans on them. we choose a network where a stranger can arrive with only a key and still belong. if you have been locked out, come in. if you have been told to wait your turn, step forward. if you have been priced out, speak up. if you have been erased, write your name where it will not rot. bring your first paycheck, your first grant. bring city budgets and school records. bring remittances, savings, pensions, endowments. bring the songs that need a home and the languages that needed a witness. bring the apps that make life easier and the laws that should outlast any leader. this is not a club. this is not a casino. this is the future of the internet, it’s everything, it’s endless and it’s just waiting for you. run a node or run a study group. ship code or ship a story. teach one person to hold a key. tip a creator onchain. publish your research where it cannot be buried. settle a trade where finality means final. vote with your fees. stand up when someone tries to turn the lights off. because when the nurse sends money home and it arrives the same night, the world gets kinder. when the artist keeps her rights and pays her rent, the world gets braver. when the city opens its books and the numbers match, the world gets cleaner. when a refugee keeps a seed phrase and crosses a border with a future intact, the world gets fairer. when a student proves i am human and is believed, the world gets saner. this is the work. not someday, now. not for a moment, forever. ethereum is yours. mine. his. hers. theirs. its. ethereum is for everyone. and it’s ours to shape.
