Came to precisely the same conclusion on Passkeys. They suck because Apple and Google, and others aren‘t working together to unify the experience To avoid vendor lock-in save the passkey with for example Bitwarden which is cross platform. Of course you’d be locked-in to Bitwarden, but might be better than being locked to hardware. And Bitwarden works on Linux too. | |
