Not sure. Tbh the best time I ever had traveling was with friends and partners. And I think you can only do that on your own terms, and actually it doesn‘t even have to be expensive to be good. In fact, when I was on this island in Thailand after Devcon I started to understand how fucking hostile the Tropics are for my pale and fragile middle European body. I accidentially didn‘t put sun screen on tiny spots and got super red etc

Agree, the vision they sell is beautiful, but in practice it's different. After 2.5 weeks in Thailand I was missing my friends and family, and in all 2024 was travelling so much that one of my New Year's Resolutions was to travel less :)
