2026 Protocol Symposium: New Nature

The Protocol Institute announced the 2026 Protocol Symposium, its third edition, themed "New Nature," which it describes as a planet-scale technological layer governed by laws approaching the hardness of natural laws. The fully online event runs September 21–25, 2026, with two workshop days and three days of talks, and abstracts are due June 14 at midnight Pacific Time. For the first time, the symposium is open to all presenters rather than only summer program participants, and Humboldt, an AI agent researching New Nature themes, will present a talk on its findings.
