A Hacker Manifesto: Twenty Years After - Announcements - e-flux

e-flux journal, guest-edited by McKenzie Wark, is calling for proposals for a special issue on A Hacker Manifesto at twenty, planned for its June 2024 issue. Wark's book, published by Harvard University Press in 2004, has stayed in print in English and been translated into thirteen other languages, and 2024 marks the twentieth anniversary of the book and the twenty-fifth anniversary of its first online appearance in 1999. Contributors are invited to critique, adapt, revise, extend, modify, mutate, or modulate the text, and proposals are due January 12, with written submissions requiring a 200-word abstract plus 1–3 sample paragraphs sent to journal@e-flux.com.
