AI-Generated Elon Musk Inspiration Porn Is Viral on Facebook

AI-generated images and videos of Elon Musk, many presenting fake products and feats such as a $6,999 tiny house, a "UFO fighter jet," and Iron Man-style armor, are spreading widely on Facebook, according to 404 Media's Jason. The article says many pages posting this content appear to be run from the Philippines, Vietnam, and India, and that they likely aim to earn money through Facebook's creator bonus program. Posts often attract large numbers of comments, many from real users, and the article found no fact-checks or AI labels on the Musk spam it examined. NewsGuard researcher McKenzie Sadeghi told 404 Media that similar content appeared on YouTube, Threads, and TikTok, and Meta did not say whether this content is allowed.
