AI Is Poisoning Reddit to Promote Products and Game Google With 'Parasite SEO'

ReplyGuy, a service that sells AI-generated Reddit replies promoting products, is drawing attention for using bot accounts to game Google rankings through what is called "parasite SEO." Its advertising describes itself as "the AI that plugs your product on Reddit," with examples including a text-to-voice product called AnySpeech and a debt consolidation program called Debt Freedom Now. Its creator, Alexander Belogubov, did not respond to requests for comment, and most of the Reddit accounts he showcased have been banned. A Reddit spokesperson said such manipulation breaks the site's rules and is treated as spam or content manipulation.
