Ancient Bitcoin Whale Moves Millions in BTC After 12 Years

A wallet holding more than 300 Bitcoin for over a decade was emptied on Friday as the asset's price fell to a three-week low, according to blockchain data. The wallet, starting with "1c5Cb," was first funded via a CoinJoin address in 2013, when Bitcoin traded around $75, per CoinMarketCap and Arkham Intelligence. The 306 Bitcoin moved are now worth $34.8 million, and the funds were split between two wallets holding 106 and 200 Bitcoin, not sent to an exchange. CryptoQuant warned that Bitcoin could face a months-long correction as long-term holders cash in.
