Circle: Perimiter Protocol - protocol for building credit applications with USDC

Circle Research has released Perimeter Protocol, an audited, open-source reference implementation for building customizable credit applications using USDC. The article describes it as a proof-of-concept provided "as-is," which Circle does not intend to productionize, so users must decide whether further audits or testing are needed before production use. Perimeter uses no protocol token and includes lending pools created by Pool Admins through a PoolFactory, loans created by Borrowers through a LoanFactory, and permissioning based on Verite credentials and allowlists. Upgrades can be performed unilaterally by the global Deployer role.
