DNS on ENS

The Ethereum Name Service (ENS) is a general-purpose naming system that supports DNS names as well as .eth names, with DNS functionality originally introduced in ENSIP-6. Users can import a DNS name by enabling DNSSEC on their domain and setting up a TXT record, which is verified by smart contracts on the Ethereum blockchain. Two import methods exist, and the ENS Manager walks users through the record setup after they enter a name and click "Import DNS."
