I try to use Base as little as possible, but of course just at the moment the chain was halted I had to swap some USDC to bid on a fc cast (which i now lost sadly) - anyway the swap is still stuck for (over 2h). only $25, but still did not improve my trust in Base lol.

They say Base halted block production bc of an issue called “unsafe head delay”. The outage was on Base network itself, not just Basescan falling behind. The network was down, stopped roughly for 30 - 45 min.
