Ethereum Gears Up for Glamsterdam with these Proposals

Ethereum core developers are evaluating four high-impact proposals, called headliners, for the upcoming Glamsterdam hard fork. The shortlist includes FOCIL (EIP-7805), which lets validators publish mandatory inclusion lists to counter censorship, given that over 80 percent of blocks are built by only two builders. Also listed are EVM64 (64-bit opcodes, with a working prototype in the Rust-based EVM implementation), EIP-7942 on strengthening finality with available attestations, and EIP-7928 on block-level access lists, which adds about 40 kilobytes of overhead per block.
