Ethereum Protocol Attackathon is live

The Ethereum Foundation's Protocol Security Research Team and Ecosystem Funding Initiative announced the first Ethereum protocol Attackathon, a time-bound crowdsourced security audit with a $1,500,000 reward pool hosted by Immunefi. It runs from November 25th to January 20th and invites the wider Ethereum community, from auditing firms to individual researchers, to search for vulnerabilities in the protocol's code. Participants begin with an educational phase of live and pre-recorded technical walkthroughs, and only impactful, rule-compliant reports will be rewarded. Bybit, Wormhole, Arbitrum, The Graph, GMX and Base are listed as co-sponsors.
