Ex-Brex exec Sam Blond is leaving Founders Fund just 18 months after he joined

Sam Blond is leaving Founders Fund, 18 months after joining the Silicon Valley venture firm, and says he is returning to operating rather than full-time investing. In a March 4, 2024 tweet, he thanked Founders Fund and said "Full time investing / being a VC isn't the right fit for me." Before joining, he was the former chief revenue officer at Brex. A Founders Fund spokesperson, Erin Gleason, said "Sam is a fantastic operator and he's been a great resource for our founders."
