Exploring and Refactoring Contraktor - Ethereum Explorer

This week the author explored and refactored Contraktor, an archived open source Ethereum explorer that had not been updated in some time and was not working properly. Contraktor lets users browse common DeFi projects or any verified Etherscan smart contract, find related contracts on different networks, and visualize and interact with a contract's resources and state. The author says they connected Rainbowkit, Wagmi and Ethers to the explorer and refactored its types in TypeScript, and found the @studydefi/money-legos npm package, which provides mainnet addresses, ABIs and Solidity interfaces for popular DeFi protocols. The next step planned is developing a detailed information view and improving the user interface.
