Farcaster: A Brand-New Community Built on Top of Decentralized Social Networks

Farcaster is presented as a brand-new community built on decentralized social networks, a "city under construction" where most residents are builders rather than general users. The author describes frames and actions as building blocks that let builders create products on the platform, and says $DEGEN tipping and the BUILD project, which lets each person nominate three builders for $BUILD daily, reward contributions. The author, who says they are a non-developer, describes moving from observer to builder by giving feedback on new products and sharing content, and argues that anyone can take part by finding a channel they enjoy, such as "/memes."
