Fusaka Testnet Announcement

The Ethereum Foundation announces the testnet activation schedule for Fusaka, the upgrade following Pectra, with Holesky activating at slot 5,283,840 on October 1, 2025, followed by Sepolia on October 14, 2025 and Hoodi on October 28, 2025. The headline change is PeerDAS (EIP-7594), which lets nodes verify blob data availability by sampling rather than downloading full blobs, enabling higher blob throughput. Blob Parameter Only forks will then raise the per-block blob target and maximum from 6 and 9 to 10 and 15 in BPO1, and to 14 and 21 in BPO2. Mainnet activation will be chosen after all three testnets upgrade successfully.
