Guild Guild

Guild Guild is proposed as a coordination body for creating, stewarding, enabling and studying guilds, with the aim of making and promoting more guilds in the Ethereum ecosystem. The article presents the Protocol Guild, which pools funding for Ethereum core contributors and has accumulated millions of dollars in its treasury, as the model to replicate. Planned work includes a guild generator covering tech infrastructure, social coordination and governance, plus registries of guilds and shared best practices. The article lists possible guilds such as a Dev Tooling Guild, a DAO Guild and a Security Guild, and says any community with a shared purpose of Ethereum public goods could qualify to launch one.
