Highlights from the All Core Developers Exceution (ACDE) Call #215

Ethereum core developers on ACDE Call #215, held July 3, 2025, validated performance results from Fusaka Devnet 2, finalized key EIP specifications, and set timelines for Devnet 3 and the Glamsterdam fork. Devnet 2 reached only about 56% client finalization, with fork-ID issues traced to Besu and 4-byte ID handling by Nethermind. The teams agreed to use the eth_config JSON-RPC method (EIP-7910) and designated Devnet 3 as the "happy-path" stress test network. Devnet 3 will also test EIP-7907, which doubles maximum contract bytecode size from 24 KB to 48 KB.
