Homescreen #3: The Never-Ending Search of a Knowledge Base

AI summary of the linked article

The author's search for a knowledge base app that suits them is still unresolved, and they describe several options as falling short. Mymind, which costs around $13 per month, uses AI to tag and summarize saved items, but it does not render items in-app, so the user must open each link in a browser, and its large boxes are unnecessarily big in the author's opinion. Save.space has a UI with small boxes and AI summaries but no tagging, is available only on iPhone, and is free. The author is currently using Notion for a side project with a small data set, saying it does not suit the unorganized mess of links they want to store.

I started using Obsidian last year and I'm very happy. But I use it primarily for ideas, most of my links are just held in bookmarks which is probably v. suboptimal
Yeah, the way to store and revisit links is still suboptimal with any app actually. But there are some apps that at least make it easy to look for them again
