Ideas Flow Freely

RM describes a long-term plan to start a practice around unsupervised, free play, and argues that AI tools, which mostly converge on a single answer, miss the diverging exploration that creative work needs. RM is building a serious non-serious zine on play and has built a prototype "idea aquarium," where AI breaks notes into ideas that drift, bond and occasionally produce "design provocations." RM calls the prototype early and unscientific, but says it has shifted their thinking about the zine and treats AI as a tool for expansion rather than fast output.
