Introducing Coins on Paragraph

Paragraph has launched the first version of coins, a way for readers to support posts they like and give quality writing more visibility. The company says subscriptions, ads, and tips each have drawbacks, and that coins are meant to be a different approach not rooted in speculation. The launch includes a side rail with three support tiers, a popularity indicator in place of market cap, and an Explore page where the most-supported posts rise to the top. Paragraph says it plans to experiment with coin relationships at the post, writer, and project levels, along with incentives for long-term holding and possible limited-edition NFTs.
