Sending crypto via e-mail address looks great. Wondering why they started with Bitcoin and not stablecoins, though? Most Bitcoiners I know don't want to spend it - they just want to hold it.

They might be Bitcoiners themselves. It’s also in their own origin story. But more importantly, Bitcoin is what most people think is crypto, and probably it’s also what has the widest adoption. A CEX even advertises to buy it on Dutch public TV.

But yes, sending EURe on Gnosis would have been more practical for actual day to day use cases.
