Japan’s Web3 Momentum Meets Global Blockchain Leaders at EDCON Osaka 2025

EDCON, the Community Ethereum Development Conference, returns to Japan for its 8th edition in Osaka in September 2025, bringing international experts, investors, Japanese conglomerates and startups together. The event is hosted as part of the Global Startup Crossroad—Osaka, with Osaka Prefecture and Osaka Innovation Hub. Representatives from Sumitomo Corporation and NTT Digital will join Ethereum Foundation executives to discuss the opportunities and challenges of blockchain adoption, and Takafumi Ochiai, Vice Chair of the Fintech Association of Japan, will present on Japan's digital asset regulation.
