Lorecore - The Story of You

Lorecore is proposed as a neologism for an era of digital capitalism in which people feel an existential need to storify themselves just as global narratives collapse. The article, a Curator-in-Residence piece for ZINE, presents a lexicon of invented terms such as Reality Lag, Doom Mood Advantage and Non-Fungible Trauma as a toolkit for describing this experience. It states that new feelings and realities demand new words, and that language helps people feel less alone with abstract emotions. Several entries are tagged with the phrase "Mint here," suggesting they could be collected as NFTs.
