This essay made me think that seeing a dating app with a MySpace-like design would be interesting. So, instead of trying to squeeze people into the same profile template, users could drag-and-drop design their pages in a unique way. The same way we design our personal pages. Someone might highlight their favorite books, another person might paste their favorite meme, and other people might go for minimalistic, artistic-like profiles. Even though it might be a moderation nightmare, I think a dating app like that would be much more fun.
