Neynar: User quality scores for ethereum addresses onchain

AI summary of the linked article

Neynar has launched onchain user quality scores that smart contracts can query for Ethereum addresses linked to Farcaster profiles, on Base Mainnet and the Sepolia testnet. The scores are meant for cases such as restricting contract interaction from anonymous addresses to high-quality ones, and they extend the user quality scores Neynar already provides offchain. Smart contracts can look up the FID linked to any ETH address and the quality score for that FID. A returned value of 0 means there is no user score for that address, and developers who want Neynar to know they use the contract can call getScoreWithEvent instead.

This is actually really cool! For the Purple writing contest we want to enable those who actively use Farcaster to vote. So my expectation was when I heard that we'd be using Neynar that I have to sign up to get an API key and then query their server. So I'm now positively surprised that I can query the Neynar score directly onchain from Base, which is freshingly simple!
