Open Problems in DAOs

Researchers are invited to join the emerging science of decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs), which are described as a rapidly growing class of organizations governed by smart contracts. The paper identifies high-impact problems where gaps could be addressed with new data sets or with tools from fields such as political science, computer science, economics, law, and organizational science.
